Shah Rukh Khan feels we analyze cinema too much, says Pathaan and Jawan were not ‘massy’ films

Shah Rukh Khan is currently in the news for his movie Dunki, that is doing brisk business at the BO. This is Khan’s third release of the year, after the juggernauts Pathaan and Jawan, which were massive hits. While Dunki is an emotional roller-coaster, Pathaan and Jawan were said to be adrenaline pumping ‘massy’ movies, a term Khan does not agree with.

While talking to Zoom, King Khan said that he feels that we analyze films too much, categorizing them as mass-oriented or content-oriented.

 

He believes films are meant for entertainment, regardless of their theme. He further added that he does not see Jawan or Pathaan as mass cinemal; they are simply entertaining films
